New Hampshire Voters Express Doubts Over Biden's Competency for Second Term

TL;DR - Breitbart reports that fewer than half of New Hampshire voters want President Joe Biden to run for re-election, according to a recent American Pulse survey.

The data reveals that only 38.1% of voters in the state believe Biden should run again.

Most New Hampshire Republicans (87.9%) do not want Biden to run again, with nearly a third of these Republicans stating that they want him to run because they believe he would lose.

Among independent voters, 64.1% agree that Biden should not run again. Interestingly, a quarter of New Hampshire Democrats also do not believe Biden should run, although 80.4% of likely Democratic primary voters in the state said they would vote for him in the primary race.

The survey found that over 65% of those who think Biden shouldn't seek re-election cited age, health, mental acuity, or overall competency as their concerns.

More specifically, 40.8% said Biden should not run because he is too old, 12.5% said he is "not mentally competent," and 14.4% said he is in "poor health"” About 8% said Biden is a "liar, crook, and corrupt," and 19.1% chose another reason.

Despite these sentiments, the survey found Biden leading Republican candidates in hypothetical head-to-head matchups. The survey was taken among 906 general and 895 primary election voters and has a +/- 3.2 percent margin of error.

The same survey found former President Donald Trump leading his Republican contenders in the primary by 37 points. Despite most Americans believing he should not run again, Biden officially announced his re-election bid in April.
